From a very young age, I remember myself entertaining for friends and family and crafting and creating gifts, decorations or even small furniture for myself and my friends, using every material I could collect or save from scrap. And those where the late eighties and early nineties when this reclaiming frenzy, that is so catchy nowadays, was considered a bit odd or weird!

In spite of this and my ever restless nature, my academic years were not as creative, as I attended and graduated law school! After graduating from the University I was called to the Cyprus Bar and practised law for eight years before deciding to return to my creative passion, that I never really gave up. As a result of that I began undertaking some small-scale projects beginning from my willing friends and family. The circle of “friends and family” gradually became bigger and bigger and began expanding so I decided it was about time to choose my path and as a result of this I founded Fresh, which opened its doors on Valentine’s Day 2008.

After opening Fresh, and aiming to offer only the best to all clients of Fresh, I attended various courses in the design field, taking a course in graphic design and attending other professional courses, with world renowned floral designers such as Paula Pryke and Karen Tran. I also attended a course on Event Design at the Central Saint Martin’s School of Art in London. And my intention is to attend many more in the future as I’m a firm believer of continuing education.

With the exception of the above short courses, I consider myself to be self-taught and my inspiration derives from everyday things as well as my travels since I’m a travel enthusiast and I pack my bags at the first opportunity of one more adventure. I’m also a very curious by nature and observant person and have stored in my head every single image I ever came across. This helps me retrieve instant inspiration when I need to and also understand a client’s vision so clearly that I can literally walk through their whole event and see in front of me every single detail even when meeting with them for the very first time. And this I believe is one of my talents that helped me through the years to deliver the quality of service that made fresh so popular in its field.

What is Fresh for me...

White Anemones, freshly brewed coffee, lively dinners at home with friends, falling asleep next to my son, travelling and exploring new places, meeting new people, living up to the challenge.

Ever since I can remember myself, design has been my passion and part of my life. I always wanted to do something creative in my life and my initial focus was either architecture or interior design. After taking some lessons in design and architecture I was ready to challenge myself even further by doing something similar academically. So I attended University of Wolverhampton in the UK where I studied Interior Design. During my course I gained a lot of useful knowledge on preparation, design and project management. But the most useful thing I learned was actually how to think outside the box! So I became one step closer to being a professional Interior Designer.

Right after finishing my studies I joined team Fresh where my responsibilities grow every day. I spend a big part of the day communicating with clients and I help in the concept creation as well as organization of any event which is the most interesting and creative part of my job.

I am motivated when I get to guide and advise our clients for the best solution for their event and make their dreams come true.  I like offering them fresh ideas and inspiring them to always take the risk and try something fresh and unique for their special day. And I’m always very proud when I get to witness some of my ideas coming to life. This motivates me to work harder each day in order to create special moments in people’s lives and generally succeed in every project I undertake.

What challenges me is constantly expanding my knowledge in design and improving myself and our work at fresh events.

What is Fresh for me...

Fresh for me is a new project, a creative day, breaking the rules, thinking outside the box, being the one and only, dreaming big and a glass of fresh juice after a hard day’s work.

My first bright memories of me arranging flowers are from a school workshop. I used fresh flowers from my grandparents’ garden- purple irises, fragrant roses and herbs to create magic, yes magic that I get to experience every day now.

 My path led from studying Fashion design through silk painting, jewellery making to end up again where it all begun-flowers.

 I was attending a wedding of a very close friend of mine where we all got engaged in the decoration and the flower arrangements. And that was the moment when I realized that flowers make me happy, they bring joy and positivity into my life and that is what I would like to do every single day.

 Then I decided to study flower arranging in London, where I was living at that time and I was privileged as well to work for a few established florists and gain lots of valuable experience.

And today here I am on this beautiful Mediterranean island, lucky enough to do what I’m deeply passionate about and what I truly love.

What is Fresh for me…

Fresh is a beautiful invitation for an endless creative journey. Fresh is vibrant and inspirational, it’s a freedom of expression.

The first time I did a flower decoration, was an amazing experience for me. When I saw the result, I said to myself that this is what I want to do for the rest of my life! 

Each client is unique, with different identity and story to tell. And I work on every single project that I take on with love, respect and happiness. Through flowers I can convey emotions, sensations and that is my way of expression. I use the colors, texture and details of each bloom to paint the picture of my clients’ dreams. 

My first relationship with flowers really came when my daughter was born. When you have a child, you start to look at things in a different way. It was her first birthday and I wanted to create everything by myself. After that, I realized that this was my calling so I decided to follow this path and studied floristry in Russia. And this is how everything started…

What is Fresh for me:

Fresh for me is a sunny morning with hugs and kisses from my daughter and a cup of Latte on the beach. 

I have always been creative since I remember myself. When I was a child, I enjoyed making different things, such as jewellery, for me and my friends. But I never thought to immerse into the floristry world. My first encounter with flower was pretty accidental. But I believe that everything happens for a reason and all these expected experiences are special. From that moment, my life is all about flowers.

I am very thrilled to be a part of Fresh Events team, as I find it an amazing opportunity to express my creativity and feel comfortable in my work environment. My job helps me get new knowledge and experience, which I learn by working side by side with great talented people. 

What is Fresh for me:

When I think of ‘Fresh’ it reminds me of something vibrant, a full spectrum of colors, emotions and experiences that my life is filled with.

Before joining Fresh Events, I had my own tourist company, which allowed me to explore not only our beautiful island, but also travel to other countries, as I am very passionate about traveling, facing unforgettable experiences and meeting new interesting people. Eventually I was asked to be a part of the Fresh Events team, which was very exciting for me, as I have always been keen on what magic these creative people can do! And I am very lucky and thankful to work here and contribute in the creative process of event organization.
